Family Enjoys the Wildlife of Sanibel Island, Florida |
| There's a ton of wildlife around
here too. I saw a huge iguana when I was driving to
the store for snacks. There're also a whole bunch of
gopher tortoises walking around here. They're actually
quite fast when they are startled, but don't seem to
mind being approached if you go slowly. We've gotten
so much nature photography practice here. You always
have to keep your camera ready walking around the
area. It's a real treat to get so close to so many
different kinds of creatures.
