We loved the resort-style amenities: swimming off the beach or in the pool, lounging in beach chairs or the hot tub, kayaking in Tarpon Bay, fishing off the dock, bicycling down Woodring Road and beyond. One guest spent most days on his stomach on the beach photographing birds and loved it. There is so much to do at the house that we found ourselves staying home days as well as nights, despite the fact that there are plenty of interesting things to do on Sanibel and Captiva islands. We did tear ourselves away to walk on Sanibel beach every day, only a five minute drive away.
