| We have great news! Fred, the gopher tortoise, appears to have moved back into his hole by the swimming pool. Either that, or he has a twin! :) We've watched him freshly dig out the hole and explore around the pool. Also, the manatee have been very active. Almost like clockwork they show up at low tide and roll around in the water and sand. One came halfway out of the water on the sand, turned over on his back with his big snout up in the air and the flippers sticking up. We couldn't believe it, but we saw his belly button! Who knew that a manatee had a belly button?!
