The Jones Family visits Sanibel Island
Your house has totally captivated us. During our stay we delighted in watching the occasional afternoon thunderstorm roll in across the water. One day, while relaxing on the deck, we witnessed a Pelican become ensnarlled in a fishing lure. (We orchestrated a rescue of the weakened bird from your shore. The injured Pelican was taken to CROW and is doing well. The rescue was featured in the local newspaper. I taped a copy of the story into this book!)

Our two girls, Olivia (8) and Eva (5), enjoyed the shelling and were proud to get their picture in the local paper for finding two rare shells. They found a "Scotch Bonnet" at Blind Pass and a "Rose Petal Telling" on the beach right in front of your home! Imagine our children's delight to be featured in the local paper twice!
